As women, we're well aware that our hormones have a profound effect on our mental, physical and emotional health. Hormonal imbalances have become increasingly common in today's fast-paced modern lifestyle.
To heal, you must first look at how you are living your life as our hormones are involved in every aspect of health. You need hormones in very specific amounts for your body to function optimally. Fortunately, consuming nutritious foods, exercising on a regular basis and engaging in other healthy behaviours can go a long way toward improving your hormonal health.
🌿Eat a well balanced diet rich in omega 3, protein, magnesium and fibre- Organic and hormone-free meat, kale (as much iron as beef), quinoa, wild salmon, coconut & Extra-Virgin Olive oil, avocado and grass-fed butter, cocao, broccoli & leafy greens, organic apples, fermented foods (introduce slowly), spices (Cinnamon, turmeric, ginger) nuts & seeds (chia and flaxseeds).
🌿Avoid Sugar and Refined Carbs (basically anything processed or that comes in plastic packaging).
