Connection
Yep. On Cloud 9!! As an introvert (INFP - energised by time alone), I can go for days, actually weeks happily cruising in my own company. This past week was all about genuine CONNECTION. To others, self and nature.
đź‘Connection with others: I had a week of minimal technology and an abundance of face-to-face connection with beautiful friends. The most incredible and inspiring women, carving their paths, doing their thing. Some encounters were brief and some were deep and went for hours, but each one was filled with good chats, both of us being present, loads of eye contact and warm hugs!
🙋🏼‍♀️Connection with Self: Always a holistic approach - nourishing the mind, body and spirit. Eating lots of wholesome foods, prioritising yoga (been weeks) + stretching, loads of reading, creating, dancing and of course, twice-daily meditation.
🌳Connection to Nature: Yes, we watch the sunrise and go to the beach each day, but lately I’ve been craving time in the hinterland. Walking beneath a canopy of trees, finding waterfalls, hearing the birds and smelling that incredible rainforest smell. Phill and I spent two days walking the Springbrook trails, learning about honey and local produce and spent one night by a fire, chatting under the stars (whilst being spoilt with the most delicious private dining experience - highly recommend @greenwoodfarmfood for a romantic mini weekend escape).
🧠Humans are born wired to feel belonging and deep, genuine connection – it's in our DNA.
🙏 Thank you beautiful girlfriends for making the time to catch-up in person this week. Overflowing with gratitude for our friendship. You’re all freakin awesome!
